Is your service up to date with GDPR compliance? Since early 2018 Early Years Services have been putting a GDPR plan into place with the help of the Canavan Byrne GDPR Pack. This pack was created to give services all of the essential documentation required to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. The Data Protection Commission is empowered to levy huge fines for non-compliance so it is essential to ensure that your service has a GDPR policy in place.
If you haven't already got your GDPR policies in place then this GDPR pack will get your service up to date. The GDPR Regulation was put into effect in May 2018. The regulation imposes obligations on organisations who target or collect data related to people in the EU. This includes Early Years Services, as they gather and store information about individuals. Any personal data must be collected, handled, and stored to meet the organisation’s data protection standards — and to comply with the law.
What is included in the GDPR Pack?
Guide to Using the GDPR Pack
Employment Contract Template
Employment Application Form Template
Child Registration Form
Data Protection Policy and Procedure (75 pages)
The main Data Protection Policy and Procedure document ensures that the Service:
Complies with data protection law and follows good practice,
Protects the rights of staff, clients and partners,
Is open about how it stores and processes individuals’ data, and
Protects itself from the risks of a data breach.
The policy document covers the following areas: Introduction, Data Protection Laws and the Core Principles, Responsibilities and Compliance, Information Security - General Guidelines, Data Breaches, Data Subject Rights/Subject Access Request Handling and Related Documentation. All documents in this pack are provided as digital downloads of Microsoft Word files so you can make any edits you need for your service. Download the files, then edit and print as many times as required. As soon as you place your order you will receive an email with a link to these downloadable files so that you can work on them immediately.
Permission is only given to the purchaser to copy the policy. The policies must not be shared with any third party.
