This Risk Assessment is specifically designed for Early Years services who have a Child using a child powered wheelchair. The document helps service providers to identify activities such as movement around the service, outdoor play, toileting and dealing with an emergency evacuation. Service providers identify the level of risk involved and the actions taken to prevent or reduce the risk further.
The guidelines and forms may need adaptation to suit the circumstances of individual organisations.
