New product alert! We are delighted to announce the addition of 3 new poster products on the Early Years Shop. These posters were designed to inspire staff members on various tools and techniques they can use as they carry out daily tasks. The posters were designed by childcare experts Canavan Byrne and are a great addition to classrooms or staff areas within any service. The posters are A3 in size, laminated for durability and can be wiped clean in line with the hygiene policy in place.
New Product Alert: The Emotional Piggybank A3 Wipe Clean Poster
The Emotional Piggy Bank poster was designed with positive behaviour in mind. The poster reminds staff how they can invest in children by using various positive techniques during their interactions. The idea behind the poster is that as staff members use the techniques they are filling the child's emotional piggy bank. Filling the child's emotional piggy bank equips the child with the best techniques to handle their own behaviour as they navigate through their early years and onto primary school. These techniques include the following;
Persistence Coaching
Tangible Rewards
Patience
Specific Praise
Child-Led Play
Active Listening
Label Emotions
Positive Modelling
Self Praise
Fun Factor
The Right Tools A3 Wipe Clean Poster

Staff members are constantly engaging with the children but they are also working alongside their co-workers, visitors and parents. These words are a reminder of the tools and techniques they can use as they go about their daily tasks.
Calm Thoughts
Deep Breaths
Be Patient
Self Praise
Humour
Forgive
Seek Support
The Modelling Cheque Book A3 Wipe Clean Poster
This poster was designed for staff to model reactions that can help to reduce tantrums and encourage positive behaviour. This poster is an excellent way to remind staff of those important key phrases, which include;
"I think I did a good job"
"I'm sorry, I could have done that differently"
"I'm going to try hard to stay calm"
"Next time, I'll ask for your help"
"I need some time to calm down"
"I think I could have done that better"
"I tried my very best with that"
"I need your help with this"
All of these posters are now available at The Early Years Shop and can be hung throughout your service so that staff can refer to them easily as and when required. Each poster is priced at €6.00 each but can be bought as a bundle for €16.00 - a savings of €2.00!
