Tip of the Week- Neurodiversity Celebration Week

March 18th-24th 2024 marks Neurodiversity Celebration Week. At Canavan Byrne, we are lucky to have an expert trainer, Ciara Watson, who recently completed a Master of Arts in Autism Research at Mary Immaculate College. As we celebrate Neurodiversity week, we are delighted to announce two new Neurodiversity related webinars, facilitated by Ciara. These webinars are designed for School Age Care Managers and Practitioners, and Parents/Guardians, and will provide both with some expert tips.

Understanding and Supporting My Neurodiverse Child at Home and School

  • This is a new webinar, scheduled for April 18th Ciara explores the diagnoses process and our health service, including the three pillars of our health service. She offers tips to support children with sensory differences and how to connect home and school, which is very important to support neurodiverse children.
