Chinese New Year is Coming – Happy Year of the Rooster!

Chinese New Year begins January 28 this year, and it is the Year of the Rooster. The European zodiac has the 12 astrological signs that have different meanings and are associated with the months of the year. In the Chinese zodiac, there are 12 different zodiac animals (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig), each one is associated with an entire year; so the birth year is considered more significant than the birth month. 2017 is the Year of the Rooster - if you were born in a year of the rooster this year is said to be unlucky for you and you should be particularly prudent and careful this year!
