Just a little reminder to make sure your medicine Record form is compliant with the regulations. A lot of medicine forms are out of date and are still being used. The medicine forms on the Early Years Shop will keep you bang up to date!
You must record the child’s name, date, time of administration, dosage and the route of the medication. Many old forms are not designed to record the “route”. This should be added to your existing records or you should use a new form.
The guidelines and forms may need adaptation to suit the circumstances of individual organisations.
