The Isolation Room Kit includes the essentials required for use in an isolation area/room. An Isolation Room is used if a staff member or child becomes unwell and is moved to the Isolation area/room to ensure that the risk of transmission to other staff members and children is kept to a minimum.
In our Isolation Room Kit we use non alcohol based and environmentally friendly products that can be used around children. Our Dew Hand Sanitiser, Disinfect and Air Sanitiser are electrolysed water based products but with the strength to eliminate viruses such as Covid-19 and Norovirus. Use these product to sanitise the air/hands and disinfect the room/area after it has been used.
In addition, our pack also includes an Infection Control Policy Template. This template will ensure that your service has the correct and up to date paperwork in place in relation to hygiene and infection control at your service. The policy covers all the elements required under regulation and highlighted in Tusla’s Quality and Regulatory Framework (QRF) from hygiene practices such as nappy changing, nose blowing and cleaning routines to immunisation schedules and exclusion procedures. This document can be edited to suit your own service requirements.
