Did you know? Tusla’s Quality and Regulatory Framework (QRF) requires educators to risk assess if a child displays challenging behaviour such as biting, particularly if it impacts other children. The Quality and Regulatory Framework also encourages staff to assess and develop a support plan for the child.
Today’s Friday Freebie is a simple two-page form with the Child’s Behaviour Risk Assessment on page 1, and on page 2, a Behaviour Support Plan for the child.
It is important to have good procedures and policies in place where handling children’s behaviour is concerned, and we can help you to document this process.
The Child’s Behaviour Risk Assessment is a new addition to our comprehensive Risk Assessment Pack.
